The annual Wörthersee Tour meeting saw the VW Group wheel out a larger than usual selection of concepts to appease the flocks of GTi devotees who made the pilgrimage across to Austria for Europe’s largest VW Festival. Volkswagen saw fit to unveil two sporting variations of the new Golf cabriolet model.
The BMW museum is playing host to a special exhibition entitled ‘The Line of Beauty', which takes a trip through the history of the ‘big' BMW coupes and convertibles. The flagship BMW coupes and convertibles have an illustrious past and most are icons in their own right. The exhibition features 14 individual exhibits that span from the pre-war 327 and 327/28 Convertible and Coupe through to the current F12/13 6-Series.

There can’t be many companies in China who haven’t had Victor Muller banging on their door armed with a chunk of Saab stock in exchange for a hat full of Chinese currency. A couple of weeks ago we had the news that Saab had signed a deal with Chinese car Maker Hawtai for €120 million in exchange for a big chunk of Saab stock and lots of ‘joint’ venture. But that fell apart last week even before Victor Muller could get to consummate the marriage.
